Ryder Reid Legal are looking to recruit a proactive and eager Business Development Manager to join one of our international law firm clients at their London office, with the main objective of the position being to provide support in all aspects related to developing new Business Development strategies. Our client, who specialise in Corporate law, are looking for someone to come in and become a key member of their team.

The key duties of the position include:

  • Lead the development and execution of marketing/business development strategies, plans and projects, nationally and internationally.
  • Manage a number of significant business development events, large and small, for key clients and prospects.
  • Provide and plan BD training.
  • Act as BD lead on firmwide initiatives and projects working directly with firm management, including presenting to leadership on progress and results.
  • Proactively provide counselling to lawyers on business development best practices, strategies, and techniques.
  • Work with the Public Relations/Media and Social Media groups to secure effective exposure in the media and on social media platforms for the practice groups and its lawyers.
  • Develop and manage the group business development budget for the designated sections and offices.

The ideal candidate would have 7+ years experience in Business Development, be degree educated and possess prior experience in a law firm or professional services.
