About the role:

We are looking for a BD and Marketing Advisor within our TMTIP practice You will be supporting the partners and associates on all aspects of BD & Marketing.

You will be welcomed into the team who are a globally diverse and friendly team focused on driving revenue growth, strengthening reputation and nurturing client relationships. You will be supported by, and work closely with, the wider London Marketing team which includes teams of experts across events, digital marketing, pitch support, external and internal comms as well as client relationship management. The work in BDM is always varied. In parallel, you will benefit from significant opportunities for learning and growth in a supportive environment. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Manage, end-to-end, the directory and awards submissions for the group
  • Works closely with our Pitch Assistance Centre and / or Strategic Pitch Team to develop accurate first drafts and project manage the end-to-end pitch process
  • Manage key events and webinars for the practice
  • Support the BD&M Partners and Practice Development Lawyer (PDL) in developing and implementing BD plans aligned to the business plans of relevant practice and initiative
  • Assists in raising the practice's external profile through product or market specific campaigns, thought leadership, PR, client and industry events and online presence
  • Support the practice in nurturing priority client relations. Plan and facilitate the execution of BD initiatives relating to client targeting
  • Close collaboration with wider practices and sectors across the firm including Tech, FinTech, Healthcare and Dispute Resolution
  • Proactive in seeking out opportunities to develop the practice and initiative

Your experience:

  • Proactive in moving forward work and taking ownership for delivery
  • Ability to accurately identify the key components of an RFP/pitch and to produce an accurate and quality first draft using internal databases
  • Previous experience in a similar BD role within legal/ professional services
  • Previous experience in a role balancing the requirements of diverse stakeholders, including at partner level

This role is based at the Linklaters London office with a hybrid working model available.
