We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Learning Disability, Autism and Transition Social Work Team in Furness. We are a creative and supportive team working with young people and adults who have a learning disability and/or autism.

About the role

As an Enhanced Practitioner, you will be assessing the needs of extraordinary individuals, to ensure the development and delivery of appropriate person-centred, self-directed support. Using relevant legislative processes to qualify your practice.

Who we are looking for

Do you have a passion for creativity and a dynamic, enthusiastic outlook? Westmorland and Furness Council is seeking an experienced and qualified social worker ready to take the next step in their career.

For this role, you need to be a social worker with substantial experience and a proven track record in the field. You must be a fully qualified and registered with the appropriate professional body.
