Trainer and Assessor

Our client is looking for a dedicated Trainer and Assessor to join their team and deliver industry-specific training that is both inspiring and promotes positive feedback and customer loyalty.

About the Role

As a Trainer and Assessor, you will be responsible for providing Fibre-based training accreditations at various training centers, with occasional travel to other locations.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Fibre-based training at designated centers, occasionally traveling to other sites.
  • Manage training certification and materials efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the training administration team to optimize training center usage.
  • Ensure all training content is current.
  • Support and guide learners to successful qualification completion.
  • Assess learners using audio and video technology, providing feedback and assistance.
  • Share best practices with peers and teams.
  • Maintain necessary equipment at training centers.
  • Monitor training expiries and prepare training dates.
  • Provide feedback to management.
  • Be open to travel for training purposes.

Experience and Skills Required

  • Prior experience in Fibre roles within Alt/Net or Open Reach environments.
  • Knowledge of Street works and surveying within Fibre programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and teaching qualifications.
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, and multitasking.
  • Strong time management and communication skills.
