An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Performance Analyst, with expertise in education reporting, to join Merton's flexible and progressive Children, Lifelong Learning & Families' Performance Team.

You'll be part of a team which works collaboratively, to deliver key strategic and operational insights across the Children, Lifelong Learning & Families department and you'll have the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in other reporting areas.

About you

The successful candidate will work closely with our internal and external stakeholders, especially our education colleagues, to provide continuous improvement in data visualisation and analysis, whilst ensuring the successful delivery of statutory returns.

You will have experience of working as a performance analyst in education services, delivering complex statistical analyses to a range of audiences. You must have a detailed knowledge of current statutory reporting requirements and an awareness of the current legislation and policy, in one of these areas.

The role requires a keen eye for detail, an ability to adapt to changing requirements and excellent communication skills.

The role would suit someone keen to work closely with our multi-agency stakeholders, to provide innovative and sustainable reporting solutions, which supports Merton's children and young people.

You will be responsible for co-ordinating data collection and analysis for assigned statutory returns and local reporting, whilst facilitating training and regular performance updates for the service.

You will need excellent IT skills including advanced MS Excel and a working knowledge of Power BI would be desirable.

We are also near Wimbledon which is part of The London Borough of Merton.
