Role: Senior Health Economist

Therapy Area: Pharmaceuticals

Package: Competitive package

Location: Hybrid - Home Based and 2 days per week in Berkshire Head Office

This role will be working on a contract until end of December 2024

This is a great chance to join a top pharmaceutical company as a Senior Health Economist. In this role, you will effectively demonstrate and communicate the value of a product portfolio to national payers, removing barriers to market access through a proactive in-house Health Economics approach.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leads the development, review, and refinement of UK/Ireland National Market Access Plans for products in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Recommends the optimal HTA strategy and leads all aspects of the HTA process for products in UK/Ireland.
  • Takes a key role in cross-functional Franchise teams ensuring Market Access is integral to brand strategy.
  • Produces high-quality materials communicating product value to national payers.
  • Demonstrates technical knowledge of HE modeling and value communication using various channels.
  • Manages projects with third-party vendors and stakeholders.
  • Enhances in-house development and training of health economists.

Qualifications:

MSc in Health Economics or equivalent discipline

The Person/Experience

Able to work strategically within cross-functional teams.

Knowledge and experience of UK Pharmaceuticals.

Practical experience with economic evaluation methods and HTA bodies requirements.
