Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring accurate and timely preparation and submission of various regulatory returns.

  • Collaborating on system enhancements and control improvements, engaging with software vendors and the IT department.
  • Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations concerning regulatory and financial reporting.
  • Assisting in producing information for reports like ILAAP, ICAAP, and Pillar 3 disclosures.
  • Engaging with different business units such as IT, Operations, Private Banking, and Risk functions as necessary.
  • Coordinating with internal and external audit functions.
  • Providing support in preparing quarterly financial reports for major stakeholders.
  • Any other additional tasks as assigned.

Skills and Key Competencies

  • Demonstrated expertise in regulatory reporting, particularly in areas like capital, liquidity, and COREP within a UK bank.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including handling large datasets and utilizing functions like VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in a comparable role within financial services.
  • Professional accountancy qualification is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and the capability to prioritize tasks.
