Our client a highly-recognised and desirable architecture practice are seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team in Norwich.

Within this role you will prepare the monthly accounts and financials including consolidation of overseas entities, provide commentary and performance analysis ready for review in board meetings. You will also maintain and produce budgets, cashflow forecasts, VAT returns and manage balance sheet reconciliations. In addition, you will be a point of contact for wider team and other offices therefore good leadership qualities are important.

Key

Responsibilities:
  • Produce and consolidate monthly management accounts
  • Prepare financial reporting packs with commentary and performance overviews
  • Prepare statutory accounts and liaise with auditors
  • Manage budgets and cash flow reports
  • Prepare VAT and GST returns
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations
  • Provide financial information for bids and tenders
  • General support to the winder finance team and manage and support the Finance Assistant
    Key Skills:
    • Previous experience as a Management Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant in a mid-sized company
    • Expertise in Microsoft Office 365
    • Experience with SAGE 50 preferred
    • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proficient at meeting deadlines and managing stress
    • Commercially astute
