Position Overview

Core Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring their financial records and tax obligations are meticulously maintained.
  • Representing the firm at networking events and functions.
  • Providing guidance and support to junior staff in their professional growth.
  • Collaborating with the tax team and other specialists within the organization.
  • Assisting clients with strategic tax planning.
Professional Development

Continuous learning is vital; therefore, attendance at CPD courses to stay updated on tax and financial regulations is expected.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in preparing private company accounts and a solid understanding of disclosure requirements.
  • Familiarity with the IRIS Accountancy Suite, Xero, and Quickbooks is advantageous.
  • Capability to prepare accounts for sole traders and partnerships, along with a basic understanding of relevant tax legislation.
  • Experience in generating monthly and quarterly management accounts for clients.
