The Opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced project manager to run the Advanced Care Research Centre Academy, an interdisciplinary Centre for Doctoral Training. We aim to develop the next generation of leaders who will enhance society's response to the challenges of an ageing population.

This post is full-time (35 hours per week, however, we are open to considering flexible working patterns), and fixed-term until March 2026. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working, with a minimum of 3 days p/w on campus.

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Project or programme management in a university or similar research or higher education environment.
  • Experience managing complex projects and deliverables.
  • Ability to establish and maintain a network of personal working relationships across a large complex organisation such as a university.
  • Collaboration with high profile, external partners to deliver successful research or training programmes.
  • Ability to think strategically and deal with complex problems.

£39,347 to £46,974 per annum
