Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Academy Operations Coordinator. This role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our Academy, including kit and equipment distribution, inventory maintenance, and transport logistics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the distribution of kit and equipment to Academy players and staff members
  • Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels
  • Assist with annual kit orders and maintain accurate records
  • Support the needs of the Balerno Performance School in relation to kit, equipment, and transport
  • Work with Academy Transport Drivers to maintain transport vehicles and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Report any vehicle defects, faults, incidents, or accidents to the Head of Academy Operations
Requirements
  • Full, clean UK driving licence which permits the driving of a minibus (D1 unrestricted or a PCV licence/D1)
  • At least 25 years of age and have held a full driving licence for a minimum of two years
  • Legal Right to Work in the UK
  • High levels of attention to detail and maintenance of standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organisational skills to effectively manage time and balance workloads
Desirable Qualifications
  • Previous experience of working within a Football Academy setting
  • Previous experience of working within a similar role
