The Role / Responsibilities:

The Director - Learning & Enablement plays a key role in meeting Moody's KYC unit's objective of ensuring all client facing teams that work with the KYC unit are fully informed and trained appropriately on the full suite of Moody's KYC client solutions. The Director - Learning & Enablement will drive awareness, understanding and relevant knowledge acquisition of the KYC unit's products and solutions to empower client facing teams to have meaningful conversations with their clients and problem solve with them from first principles. This role is responsible for the end-to-end creation of a learning & enablement programme, liaising with internal departments and/or external resources to secure appropriate support.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure strong working relationships with Sales, Strategy, Product Management, Sales OU central enablement team and Marketing to develop a learning & enablement curriculum and produce content to educate client facing teams on KYC solutions
  • Conduct needs assessments and confer with stakeholders to identify skills gaps and develop appropriate training programs and interventions to meet the needs of the organization
  • Create objectives-based training content on KYC OU products and services
  • Deliver (personally and through others) compelling trainings, presentations, product demos, exercises, roleplays, and discussions that equip our teams to effectively problem solve for customers and generate revenue
  • Design and facilitate live workshops and virtual trainings covering KYC products and solutions. These courses will be delivered globally and there will be a requirement to deliver courses outside of the immediate region.
  • Design and develop interactive and engaging on-demand training offerings
  • Maintain comprehensive, current and engaging knowledge materials on KYC solutions via the Knowledge Portal/Confluence
  • Manage a small team of learning & enablement specialists
  • Partner with the Moody's Sales OU's sales enablement team to build engaging trainings utilizing Highspot technology.
  • Stay current with the anti-financial crime and KYC industry, current trends, practices and uses of technology

Qualifications:

Education & Work Experience:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience - direct sales or sales training preferred
  • Advanced facilitation, presentation and training delivery skills
  • Ability to design and deliver training courses and other learning interventions both onsite and virtual
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to apply a variety of learning/training concepts and principles
  • Ability to define and articulate product management, sales and support strategies
  • Skilled in influencing stakeholders without direct authority
  • Proven ability to run and participate in meetings with all levels of an organization - including third party organizations
  • Innovative approach to solving complex issues and problem solving
  • Strong customer, project management and relationship building skills
  • Ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
  • Ability to manage and meet deadlines
  • Strong editing and proof-reading abilities
  • Willingness to travel
