Summary

The National Trust plays a pivotal role in connecting people with nature, beauty and history. Internally known as Experience Development Coordinator - Project Coordinator.

What it's like to work here

We're bigger than you think, we're more complicated than we appear and we're larger scale than you'd imagine.
We've got passionate people in all our teams, and we've got so much more we want to achieve.
Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview. Typically, your time would be split between our Head Office, working from National Trust and partner locations across the UK and home or your local National Trust office.

What you'll be doing

This role is based in the national Experience Development team, who set the direction for the future of visitor experiences and visitor programming, and lead the Visitor Experience job family. This matrix team works across all areas of the organisation to establish a truly shared direction and priorities for delivery of visitor experiences.
The Experience Development Coordinator role supports the smooth running of key projects and programmes within the whole Experience Development team, working with Experience Development Managers and our Visitor Experience Engagement Manager to plan, support and coordinate work effectively.

Who we're looking for

For this position we're looking for someone who:
• Can provide administrative support and coordination of the implementation of new experiences and programmes for visitors, in multi-disciplinary environments/teams.
• Has experience of supporting projects and programmes in a cultural heritage/visitorattraction/wider arts context.
• Can work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage their own time effectively.
• Is confident and capable of supporting and building relationships with stakeholders and showing initiative around task completion.
• Can take on admin-based tasks, from diary/travel management, meeting/workshop organisation/scheduling, and the logistics associated with external venues/partners, to setting up contracts, arranging payments and updating project trackers/logs.
• Has experience of helping to compile reports, presentations, case studies, templates and business cases.
• Wants to help support work that is audience led and innovative.
You can view the full role profile in the document attached. You don't need to have all the knowledge, skills and experience listed in the role profile; this is just to provide a full picture of what is possible in this role.

The package
