We have two part-time (20hr) roles available. One role will support the Head Conservator and team and the second the Head of Collections Management their team.

Both roles are available on a 2-year fixed term or internal secondment opportunity basis.


What it's like to work here:Whilst you'll focus on your particular team, you will be part of a wider Business Services job family, linking up with a team of 8 other coordinators across the directorate to provide first class support.


Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon, however there will be an opportunity to explore and agree hybrid working arrangements which strike the right balance for you and the Trust.

The role will involve travel to our head office to meet with stakeholders and to carry out work.

What you'll be doing:

The National Trust is a busy organisation that has a lot going on at all times - you can guarantee that no day is the same, so you'll have to love variety As well as supporting day to day operations, you'll have the chance to support a variety of projects and offer your advice beyond your team.

You'll always champion best practice when it comes to business support and will be confident challenging the norm when you think there's a better way of doing something.

Day to day you'll forward plan in diaries, organise travel and meeting logistics.

You'll take care of meeting preparation & attendance (agenda planning and note taking), and assist with project and purchasing support.

  • Relevant experience in a Business Support environment
  • meeting administration, experienced note taker, diary management and travel/logístical skills
  • Written and verbal communication skills, you'll be communicating with all levels of stakeholders across the Trust and externally
  • A love for being part of a high performing team
  • Flexible and customer, focussed with strong customer service skills
  • Able to multitask and prioritise own workload
  • Well organised and attention to detail
  • IT Skills, you'll be using Word, Excel and Outlook everyday
