We're looking for an enthusiastic and well-organised individual who can support the Head of Programme Delivery for the commercial investment Programme to support the day to day functions of the programme and some elements of project delivery on the ground.

You'll be providing coordination, tracking and data management expertise in support of the delivery of multiple projects at a programme level.

This is a varied and fast paced role that offers career opportunities and personal development within project management.

You'll be joining the team at an exciting time of growth and will be pivotal in supporting Head of Programme Delivery to oversee the programme progress and reporting.

Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon, however there will be an opportunity to explore and agree hybrid working arrangements which strike the right balance for you and the Trust.

The role will involve travel to meet with stakeholders and to carry out work.

What you'll be doing:
You'll be responsible for maintaining programme documentation, tracking the programme, and communicating with the wider project team and stakeholders.

You will build strong relationships both internally and externally, sharing learning, identifying opportunities, and working collaboratively.

You'll be creative, resourceful, have great initiative, being able to work with a range of different people and organisations.


You'll be responsible for organising and minuting Board and meetings and effectively supporting the monitoring of progress, the preparation and compiling of project reports.


You will collate and provide the necessary tracking and analysis of management information to support the Head of Programme Delivery and the decision-making process.


You'll follow financial processes and maintain record-keeping to ensure accountability, ensuring a clear audit trail is maintained for all decisions and activities undertaken within the projects that you are supporting.

There'll be potential opportunities to lead on various elements of project delivery.

You'll also support project communications, to maintain relations with external project partners and stakeholders, to ensure everyone understands the progress of the project.

  • Organisational abilities and planning skills.
  • Knowledge of budgets, finance tracking and reporting.
  • Experience of project tracking and delivery, with the ability to work well both to your own initiative and in crossfunctional team working.
  • Experience of data management, analysis and the preparation of associated reports and presentations with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Strong practical experience with using IT, particularly Excel.
