This is an interesting and rewarding role that leads a team of 15 officers who are committed to providing an exceptional service across the field.
You'll have fantastic management experience and build relationships quickly. As an expert within the field of Environmental Health, you will offer engaging and inspiring leadership and guidance to the Food and Safety, Environmental Protection and Licensing Teams that provide a vital and diverse range of services for the District's residents and visitors.
You will have comprehensive knowledge of the relevant legislation and a proven track record of effectively handing regulatory and licensing issues which you will use to ensure the service remains compliant. As Stratford District Council is one of the busiest councils for facilitating large outdoor events you'll hold a very good understanding of event safety and SAGs.
As an innovative thinker and leader, you'll bring a can-do attitude to empower and motivate your teams to ensure that services are delivered to the highest standards for the District's residents and visitors.
