With a focus on delivering for our future generations, Poole Farm is an inspiring place and our work has been shown to improve health and wellbeing, deliver education outcomes whilst connecting people to nature through outdoor learning, mindfulness and play.

We are looking for someone to work from Poole farm (run by Plymouth City Council) and help deliver our Green Youth Services, including; 'Ranger badge scheme' and education programme, SEND groups and adult learning 'Green Skills bootcamps'.

There will be opportunity to support groups of CYP with our innovative eco-therapy programme working alongside a practitioner from Livewell delivering preventative therapy in nature to improve mental health and resilience.

This person will also help deliver our hands-on practical conservation volunteering programme to enhance, manage and conserve the Derriford Community Park for wildlife.

This person will work alongside the team, supporting a variety of projects including our beaver re-introduction and creation of the newest and largest Park in Plymouth – Derriford Community Park. Day to day work will include caring for the animals, working with volunteers, helping in the Community Garden and maintaining and enhancing the Local Nature Reserves amongst other activities to keep the site running smoothly.

These innovative work areas focus on delivering improved outcomes for CYP, as well as bringing community and nature together around nature-based solutions and urban wilding.
