About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to progress your career and assist in the delivery of Defence design and safety engineering projects, with opportunities for further development and progression within the Company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the delivery of mechanical engineering work packages to the required scope, quality, schedule, and cost.
  • Apply a systems engineering approach to develop and validate design requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with client specifications, technical regulations, and standards.
  • Collaborate across engineering functions and stakeholders to integrate designs within the overall facility layout and manage interfaces.
  • Technical management of specialist sub-contract designers.
  • Maintain the engineering configuration of the design intent (change control).
Requirements
  • A degree, degree apprentice, or demonstrable time served in an appropriate engineering discipline.
  • Chartered Engineer, registered with the Engineering Council (or actively working towards).
  • Mechanical engineering background preferably within Defence, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience in engineering principles for the design of mechanical process systems and building services.
  • Regulations, legislation, and standards applicable to mechanical system design and construction.
