As a Lead Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role within the Major Projects division, contributing to significant construction and civil engineering endeavors in collaboration with our team.

You will assume comprehensive commercial oversight for extensive and intricate subcontract packages related to ongoing construction activities, guiding them from the bidding phase through to final account settlements.

Your responsibilities will include the commercial management of subcontractors, which encompasses processing payments, negotiating final account agreements, and addressing any disputes that may arise, while closely monitoring accounts against cost and schedule projections.

It is essential to prepare accurate monthly cost/value reports for various work packages, engaging with project team members to review outcomes and analyze trends.

You will also be tasked with optimizing cash flow, ensuring timely receipt and disbursement of payments, and producing necessary applications for payments in line with contractual stipulations.

Additionally, you will manage change and risk processes within work packages, providing support to the broader project commercial team with relevant contract notifications.

Your commercial insights will include delivering financial and contractual performance forecasts to the management team, assisting in surpassing business objectives and project KPIs.

Proficiency in IT, particularly in MS Office with a strong emphasis on Excel, is required for this role.

A valid driving license is also necessary.
