Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Plymouth. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in taking responsibility for projects from inception to completion. You will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects across different sectors, including high-profile residential developments, commercial projects, hotels, and local government initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure project success.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers.
  4. Conduct site visits, monitor progress, and identify potential issues.
  5. Prepare and present project reports, including financial analysis and progress updates.

Requirements

  1. Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  2. Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in the property development sector.
  3. Be a full member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
  4. Have excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Be proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and have experience with project management software.
