Job Title: Operations Assistant

Location: 283 Camberwell New Road

Reports to: Head of Operations and People

Working Hours: Part time, 3 days per week

Job Purpose:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join Halfpenny London, a leading British luxury bridal wear brand. We are looking for a part time Operations Assistant to join the team at our head office site in Camberwell, London.

This role will support the Head of Operations and People to ensure that the operations and logistics of the team and business projects are running efficiently.

We work in a fast-paced environment, so willingness to learn and a passion for your work are key. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, organised and creative, who thrives within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with excellent attention to detail and forward thinking at all time. A great team player with the vision for systems and ideas to enhance both the customers experience and journey of the business too.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

OPERATIONS

  • Coordinate the paperwork and general office administration
  • Managing the team social and event schedule including Christmas party, birthdays etc with support from Office Coordinator.
  • Shipping and customs point of contact
  • File management of the business network
  • Stock Inventory management

SPECIAL PROJECTS & PARTNERSHIPS

Assist HOO on the production of London Fashion Week shows

PEOPLE & BUDGETS

  • Employee dashboard software maintenance
  • Coordinate the paperwork and general office administration
  • Manage holidays and TOIL requests
  • Assists with company procedures

RECRUITMENT

  • Support the recruitment across all departments
  • Closing and confirming candidates to join
  • Welcome new starters and manage induction and on-boarding
  • Manage holidays and TOIL requests
  • Assist with company procedures
  • Administrative support with contracts and NDA's.
  • Health and Safety inductions

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances
  • Organised and methodical approach to tasks
  • First Aid qualifications are a plus
