Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all areas of the university, including academic departments, laboratories, libraries, and office spaces.
  • Work as part of a team to deliver exceptional cleaning services and ensure a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.
  • Perform cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting, to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Operate cleaning equipment and machinery, such as vacuum cleaners and floor polishers, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the facilities team in a timely manner.

Working Patterns:

  • Two part-time positions available, each working 17.5 hours per week, with early morning starts.
  • Working Pattern 1: Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 09:30.
  • Working Pattern 2: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 10:30.
