0.51 FTE - 19 hours per week.

We have an exciting opportunity to be part of Wrexham University Sport and Exercise Sciences Department in joint collaboration with the Students Union as a Lecturer in Football Development. This post is dual in nature and will consist of lecturing on Sport and Exercise Science related modules and taking responsibility for the coaching and development of the University BUCS football provision. We are seeking a passionate individual who is experienced in football coaching and lecturing.

The post holder will: contribute to learning, teaching and assessment within the Sport and Exercise Science Department on relevant UG and PG modules and undertake responsibility for the University BUCS football provision, coaching and developing the teams, attending match day fixtures and coordinating and leading training sessions. They will also undertake responsibility for recruiting and retaining players and staying up to date with the latest coaching techniques and strategies.

The post holder must: be a UEFA B License holder, have experience of football coaching with adults and a strong understanding of the FAW national syllabus.

The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post.
