Quality Assurance Role at Wockhardt

About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Wockhardt. As a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out analytical routine testing using a variety of analytical equipment, including HPLC/UPLC/UV/GC/Dissolution, to support the department in monitoring the quality of components, raw materials, products, and production processes.
  • Inspect, sample, and/or analyze products and processes to ensure compliance with current GMP, ALCOA+, Health and Safety, and COSHH regulations.
  • Lead OOS/OOT investigations and take on a limited supervisory role, providing guidance and support to junior team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain quality procedures and protocols to ensure consistency and accuracy in testing and analysis.

Requirements

  • Relevant science degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Sound understanding of current GMP, ALCOA+, Health and Safety, and COSHH regulations.
  • Previous experience of working in a QC pharmaceutical laboratory with experience in laboratory techniques (e.g. HPLC, GC, UV, dissolution, TLC, FTIR).
  • Previous experience of leading OOS/OOT investigations and taking on a limited supervisory role.
  • Ability to take on a limited supervisory role and provide guidance and support to junior team members.
