About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Wockhardt. As a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality assurance strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Lead and participate in quality audits, investigations, and corrective actions to identify and address quality issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of quality systems and processes.
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on quality procedures and best practices.
  • Conduct analytical routine testing using various analytical equipment to support the department in monitoring the quality of components, raw materials, products, and production processes.

Requirements

  • Relevant science degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Sound understanding of current GMP, ALCOA+, Health and Safety, and COSHH regulations.
  • Previous experience of working in a QC pharmaceutical laboratory with experience in laboratory techniques (e.g. HPLC, GC, UV, dissolution, TLC, FTIR).
  • Previous experience of leading OOS/OOT investigations would be an advantage.
  • The ability to take on a limited supervisory role would be an advantage.
  • Relevant experience in a pharmaceutical or equivalent laboratory environment.
