About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled QC Chemistry Analyst to join our team at Wockhardt, a leading generic pharmaceutical company in the UK. As a key member of our quality control department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute HPLC/UPLC/UV/GC analytical method validation and verification protocols
  • Support the quality control department in monitoring the quality of components, raw materials, products, and production processes through inspection, sampling, and analysis
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with current GMP, Health and Safety, and COSHH regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions
  • Conduct analytical validation and verification studies, and prepare reports with minimal supervision

Requirements

  • Relevant science degree or equivalent qualification
  • Sound understanding of current GMP, Health and Safety, and COSHH regulations
  • Experience in designing validation and verification protocols, running method validation and verification studies, and writing validation reports
  • Ability to take on a limited supervisory role
  • Relevant experience in a pharmaceutical or equivalent laboratory environment and proven industry experience performing analytical validation
