What you'll do

To deliver on the content strategy for the Personalised Discovery team; help develop and manage personalised content features that inspire confidence in our customers; help the Personalised Discovery team meet its incremental revenue targets.

This role will manage a small team of content editors and writers, ensuring they deliver useful, aspirational and digestible style advice that engages and converts customers.

  • Help develop and manage engaging and relevant digital content features
  • Define yearly and quarterly team goals and objectives
  • Manage a team of content writers, supporting their development and helping to strengthen their content skills
  • Ensure that all rich content creates seamless customer journeys and is mindful of all other creative content the M&S customer might consume
  • Collect customers insights and applying learnings to relevant content touch points

Who you are

  • Proven experience defining a digital content strategy ideally within a retail business
  • Experience managing a team of content writers
  • Ability to analyse data and apply learnings to relevant touch points
  • Experience cross-collaborating with creative, technical, and commercial teams towards common business goals
  • Creative mindset and affinity for developing innovative ideas
  • Knowledge of retail competitors and what gold standard content looks like
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to react quickly to changing business needs and prioritise workload accordingly
