Job Purpose

As we strive to increase our presence in the rapidly evolving Employee Experience platform sector, we are seeking a Senior Content Executive to play a pivotal role in refining Unily's brand and content strategy. This position will help shape our narrative and amplify our brand voice through captivating and informative content.

This role reports to the Manager of Communications and Brand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a diverse range of content types, including blog articles, whitepapers, social media posts, and video scripts, all designed to resonate with our enterprise audience. This position requires a solid understanding of the B2B technology landscape, exceptional communication abilities, and the skill to articulate complex ideas in a clear and engaging manner.

Main Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality, engaging content and copy for various platforms, including the website, blog, social media, email campaigns, and marketing materials, as well as resources for both in-person and virtual events.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to inform content creation and ensure relevance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and customer success, to gather insights and create content that addresses customer challenges and highlights product advantages.
  • Develop compelling copy for case studies, whitepapers, eBooks, and other long-form content that positions Unily as a thought leader in the intranet domain.
  • Work closely with our in-house and agency design and production partners to create visually appealing content across various media.
  • Optimize content for SEO to enhance organic search visibility and drive traffic to Unily's website.
  • Utilize analytics tools to assess content performance and provide data-driven recommendations for enhancement.
  • Stay informed about content marketing best practices and continuously seek opportunities to improve content quality and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in content creation, copywriting, or a similar role within the B2B technology sector.
  • Experience managing agencies; prior experience in public relations is a plus.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
