About the RoleWe are looking for a dynamic content writer for a six-month pilot of a new Content Squad at Greenpark. This is a dedicated content role with the primary objective of maximising brand awareness for an exciting brand in Saudi Arabia. This role will be based in the UK, South Africa, UAE or Saudi Arabia and managed out of the UK. Editorial excellence, brand affinity, performance mindset and creative ideas will all be essential to this role.
This role description covers the main aspects of the Content Writer role. However, a job description is not a box that you are put in. It is a definition of your core responsibilities. In a company like ours, you are encouraged and expected to contribute to many wider issues.
Responsibilities- Writing SEO-lead editorial copy for in multiple formats, as required, to include articles, landing pages, product listings, image captions, meta titles and descriptions among others.
- Write persuasive commercial copy to lead users on their buying journey, including personalisation copy.
- Working closely with the SEO team on delivering highly optimised content.
- Create and maintain editorial content calendars that align to strategic priorities.
- Working within editorial and channel best practices to deliver exceptional quality for our clients.
- Participating in ideation sessions for content creation, where required.
- Be aware of trends in the subject matter and which are good opportunities for the brand.
- 2-3 years writing optimised SEO copy for web.
- Experience writing about tourism and hospitality.
- Experience in writing commercial copy including but not limited to product descriptions, calls to action, CRM copy, copy for each stage of the buying journey, and push notifications.
- Keen understanding of SEO and copywriting best practices.
- Experience in writing non-search based editorial content.
- Ability to adapt to brand tone of voice and turn their hand to different subject matter day-to-day.
