The In-Store Communications team create and execute compelling point of sale marketing for all our ASDA store formats, landing this with impact, clarity and consistency.


As In-Store Communications Planner – Events & Campaigns you will develop and deliver impactful and integrated in-store point of sale for campaigns and key calendar and customer-led events such as Easter, Summer, Halloween and Christmas.

You will report to the In-Store Communications Manager and will be responsible for the planning and execution of all POS for events & campaigns on time and to budget, reporting on activity status and ensuring all elements adhere to our brand guidelines.


Working alongside your fellow Planner, with the support of the Co-ordinator, you will:

Collaborate and work closely with category Business Partners within the wider team to receive or write artwork & print briefs and blockplans for key events, ensuring these align to the overall strategic customer and commercial plans.Ensure creative milestones are clear and are met by the design team and our creative agency.Work closely with our creative agency, internal studio, and external print agency to ensure all artwork aligns to the event and brand guidelines and is delivered to print on time.Be responsible for clear and concise store communications, working collaboratively with our Retail Operations team to drive store engagement across all activity.Develop and maintain ways of working with key stakeholders across the business and externally.Be responsible for raising and receipting POs and supporting the monthly budget actions.Support the In-Store Communications Manager with larger scale events and innovation where required, including working with the wider Customer Marketing team on campaign alignment, photography requirements where needed, and critical path management.Coach and support the Co-Ordinator with workload management, prioritisation and development.
