We are in search of an outstanding Senior Planner to enhance our successful team, providing support to our clients in the North Region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and implement superior planning and scheduling standards to Project Managers on various projects.
  • Create detailed, logic-linked project plans in Primavera P6, aligned with project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
  • Ensure the integration of project control procedures throughout the project delivery process.
  • Offer expert advice, including regular schedule updates on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
  • Generate monthly planning reports, resource updates, and forecasts.
  • Produce ad-hoc reports to inform Project Managers of significant schedule impacts and their implications on progress and completion.
  • Prepare materials and participate in regular planning and progress meetings.
  • Lead and support the development of a team of Planners.

Qualifications:

  • A recognized diploma or degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience in all facets of planning and scheduling using Primavera products.
  • Experience in Energy, Infrastructure, or Industrial sectors.
  • Knowledge of resourcing, progress measurement, earned value analysis, completion forecasting, and status reporting.
  • Comprehensive experience across the entire project and program lifecycle, including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation/Commissioning processes.
  • Ability to reconcile cost information as it pertains to work programs.
  • Proficient in interpreting estimating, scheduling, programming, and risk management tools.
  • Experienced in Earned Value Analysis.
  • Familiarity with contract frameworks such as NEC3/4, IChemE, or FIDIC.
  • Strong client interface skills with the capability to provide both strategic and project-related advice.
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
  • Strong IT proficiency.
  • Working knowledge of relevant Health and Safety regulations.
