We are seeking an ambitious Assistant Planner to join our dynamic team at Fawkes & Reece (North), a leading regional contractor with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects across various sectors.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a career history and track record of being an Assistant Planner within a construction environment, with experience working on similar projects. They will be responsible for assisting the Senior Planner and Planning Manager in delivering projects from £5m to £15m, with a focus on high-rise residential, commercial developments, student accommodations, care homes, and retirement living.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of projects from conception to completion.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Planner and Planning Manager to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, resource allocation, and risk management plans.
  • Contribute to the development of project proposals, business cases, and tender documents.
