About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior Town Planner to join our team. As a Junior Town Planner, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of planning applications, conducting site appraisals, and providing support to senior planners on complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of planning applications, including drafting reports and statements
- Conduct site appraisals to identify potential development opportunities
- Provide support to senior planners on complex projects, including research and data analysis
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Contribute to the development of business strategies and plans
Requirements:
- 1 year of relevant planning experience
- Degree in Town Planning or a related field, preferably RTPI accredited
- Strong understanding of the UK planning system and London-specific planning policies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail
