Summary

This role will define, implement and measure success of internal change & communications plans to drive engagement, understanding and embedding of new ways of working as part of our D&T Evolution transformation programme.

As a Change & Engagement Manager you will play a key role in working with the D&T Evolution Office Lead and workstream leads to provide visible and inspirational leadership, building organisational advocacy for change activities, and developing a clear vision and standards.

You will champion excellence in Organisational Change standards, tools and processes and provide expert advice for team members and the programme/change community. As a successful Change & Engagement Manager, you will use influence and innovation to improve change adoption and ensure a positive end-user experience for changes impacting people, process, and technology.

What you'll do

  • Work with workstream lead(s), sponsors and teams within the D&T Evolution transformation programme to identify, plan and implement change and engagement activity across the D&T function, other impacted business areas and third parties
  • Build and own change plan for one or more workstreams within the D&T Evolution programme, aligning to standard organisational change methodology implemented across the programme and ensuring a joined up and consistent approach
  • Complete change impact assessment for activity within workstreams to identify needs and build the supporting change and communication plan aligned to the ADKAR model to ensure awareness, buy in and sustainability of people, process and systems changes being implemented as part of the transformation
  • Work closely with other Change & Engagement Managers and Evolution Office team to ensure change activity aligns with wider transformation and BAU activity, ensuring change is sequenced and managed optimally
  • Ensure workstream teams understand their role in driving and delivering change and have the right skills and support to deliver their responsibilities

Who you are

  • Experience of organisational change and implementing common methodologies and tools, including ADKAR, change impact assessments, partner maps, communication plans
  • Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey sophisticated messages in simple manner
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Ability to understand complexity and technical content at pace and navigate this with confidence and credibility
