Life on the team

A new opportunity has arisen within Computacenter, Hatfield/Nottingham/Milton Keynes for an experienced Software License Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring Computacenter's license management services are provided to our customers in an effective and efficient manner as well as being responsible for managing all aspects of the software license management Best Practice tools and processes in place, performing activities such as Entitlement Management, Reconciliation activities, Software rationalisation and Optimisation, and delivery of Vendor audits with a focus on (but not exclusively) IBM/Oracle

What you'll do

  • Achieve KPIs, including Report production and distribution.
  • Undertake assignments; specifically gathering and analysing customer's contract, entitlement, renewals and discovery data for inputting into Licence Management Tool
  • Govern data cleanse activities to ensure the optimum data quality is maintained
  • Build and develop relationships with key stakeholders across Computacenter and Customer
  • Adhere to administrative processes in line with company guidelines.
  • Provide advice and guidance to support each Customer's best interests on software license management.
  • Ensure Customer satisfaction through effective communication and managing expectations.
  • Promote and recommend Best Practice to the Customer and provide support where appropriate.
  • Lead, guide and coach Licence Analysts

What you'll need

  • Proven experience in a like Licence Manager post
  • Experience in Managed services organisations and environments.
  • Expert technical experience within IT Industry
  • Extensive use of Software Licence Management Tools i.e. SNOW, Flexera, ServiceNow
  • Capable of delivering Vendor ELPs for key vendors – such as Microsoft, Adobe
  • Support Audits for specific products i.e. IBM and Oracle
  • Knowledge of licensing models across the vendors for entitlements and reconciliation activities.
  • Have a good understanding of the application lifecycle process flow and licence models and metrics
  • Demonstrable experience with the analysis of discovery tool data
  • Good communication skills across a broad audience – i.e. Analyst to Senior Delivery managers/ Customers /Vendors
