Job Summary:

Advance TRS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Lead to lead a team in developing innovative software projects for signalling control centre products.

About the Role:

  • Provide technical support to control system delivery projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Lead the obsolescence management of control system software products, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends.
  • Proactively manage resources within the team, including staff performance management activities.

Requirements:

  • Degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of software development processes, including Agile methodologies.
  • Complete understanding of Windows Operating Systems and their applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of C, C++, C# programming languages.
  • Understanding of networking protocols and communication programming.

Desirable Skills:

  • Detailed knowledge of signalling interlocking systems and their applications.
  • Experience with WPF, PRISM, Entity Framework, SQL Server, and other relevant technologies.
  • Ability to introduce new tools and processes, driving innovation and efficiency within the team.
  • Experience in a commercial railway systems environment, with a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
