About the Role
Ocado Logistics is seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the development of our software partnership ecosystem. As the Head of Strategic Partnerships, Software Development, you will play a critical role in setting up our software product for success through enabling a world-class third-party partnership ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Standardize, embed, and communicate best practices across the end-to-end journey of software third-party partnerships, creating a central source of truth and center of excellence.
- Define and embed a build vs. buy decision framework and support product streams with a strategic approach.
- Support product teams with best practice guidance around market scanning and due diligence.
- Define commercial model options for partnerships and support product teams with strategic commercial choices, working with the commercialization team to define impact on OSP cost and fees and to partners.
- Define and track KPIs across software partners, escalating issues and lessons learned, and develop tooling to enable third-party tracking and management.
- Work closely with procurement, legal, solutions, and other relevant teams to build a commercial and legal playbook for third-party partnerships, supporting procurement with commercial negotiations and defining and applying appropriate commercial models.
- Support upskilling of the product organization around all stages of third-party relationships, in collaboration with the product operations team, and work with hardware third-party teams to ensure consistency.
- Define target roles and responsibilities across the organization at each phase of the partnership journey and define ongoing organizational structure to support third-party partnerships.
Requirements
- Experience across the partnerships lifecycle.
- Ability to deliver change in a matrixed organization.
- Knowledge of partnership commercial models and ability to apply best practice.
- Documentation and process design.
- Excellent relationship management skills.
