Position: Lead Clinical Pharmacist - Oncology

Location: West Midlands.

Salary: £60,000 per annum

We are excited to assist in the recruitment of a dynamic Oncology Pharmacist to lead our specialized oncology pharmacy team in Leicester. This role is ideal for an experienced oncology pharmacist with a strong background in hospital pharmacy at a senior level. As the Lead Pharmacist, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the oncology pharmacy department, providing motivation, training, and effective management to the team. Your expertise will be critical in advising on the safe management of medicines within the hospital and its departments, all while ensuring compliance with current legislation and professional standards.

Key Requirements:

  • A degree in Pharmacy (M Pharm, B Pharm, or BSc in Pharmacy)
  • Valid GPhC pin as part of the General Pharmaceutical Council register
  • Proven ability to lead a small oncology pharmacy team
  • Band 7 level experience and the capability to support and provide clinical direction to junior team members
  • Qualifications in leadership or management are desirable but not mandatory
  • Experience in chemotherapy dispensary is a plus
