The Role

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Designer, print and digital to join the British Vogue team.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in a fast-paced environment, working as part of the British Vogue team and liaising closely with the European Design Director of Vogue.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and immersed in the print and digital world, eager to keep up to date with the latest technologies, design techniques and popular culture. An interest in fashion and luxury brands is advantageous, alongside an impressive portfolio of print and digital projects that show the ability to work creatively within brand guidelines.

What will you be doing?

Work with the British Vogue editorial team and art team led by the European Design Director to develop top-level design solutions. Maintain brand standards across all print and digital properties including the printed magazine, website, social platforms, videos and newsletters. Design FOB, feature layouts and Vogue supplement layouts for the printed magazine. Assist the European Design Director in the art direction of photo shoots for FOB features. Commission original artwork, including illustrations, infographics, icons, and animations. Responsibility for managing the creative budget. Adapt and create printed media assets across all digital platforms. Work collaboratively with post production to meet magazine print deadlines. Project manage workflow for print and digital projects. Who you are:

Significant commercial experience working in publishing and media, ideally within the fashion field. Strong sense of typography and composition for both editorial design and digital design. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects and G Suite - knowledge in Premiere is a plus. Ability to multitask with varying timelines - both same day and long lead turnaround. Organised team player with strong communication skills. Where will you be?

This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week in our beautiful Adelphi office, with breathtaking views over the Thames, and next to the hustle and bustle of The Strand.
