Role Overview

Jaded London is seeking a talented Freelance Womenswear Print and Graphic Designer to join our dynamic design team. You will play a crucial role in developing innovative graphics and prints for our womenswear garments, ensuring they align with the brand's aesthetic and resonate with our target audience.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough research on current and emerging trends in print and graphic design to inspire fresh concepts and maintain Jaded London's unique style. Create compelling mood boards and share your ideas with the team.
  • Design commercially viable prints and graphics that are both stylish and appealing to our customer base.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider womenswear design team to ensure a seamless workflow from concept development to sample production.
  • Draw inspiration from a diverse range of sources, including social media trends, seasonal global fashion reports, runway shows, and research trips.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and CAD.
  • Experience designing for a brand with an aspirational aesthetic.
  • Knowledge of various print techniques, including sublimation, digital printing, screen printing, flocking, and rhinestone placement.
  • Ability to work across different mediums, creating .psd or .ai artworks from photographs, stock images, and other sources.
  • Strong understanding of Jaded London's brand identity and target customer.
  • A keen eye for fashion trends and a directional approach to print design.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, enabling you to collaborate confidently and effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and senior management.
  • A versatile personal style with a demonstrated ability to adapt to various design aesthetics. Please showcase this versatility in your portfolio.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a deep understanding of color theory.
