The Position:

As a Print Production Coordinator, you will be a vital member of our creative team. Your main duty will be to supervise and facilitate the development of all creative materials necessary for our initiatives. You will guarantee that these materials are approved, suitable for their intended use, and delivered punctually. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing production proofs, technical specifications, custom packaging, and maintaining essential supplies.

A Typical Day in Your Role

  • Manage Production Proofs: Take ownership of and update comprehensive production proofs that include technical layouts, product details, and branding elements. Ensure these documents are accurately maintained and that all team members utilize the most up-to-date versions.
  • Oversee Creative Materials: Supervise the creation and approval of various project materials, including gift cards, brochures, and intricate print collateral with specialized finishes. Ensure all materials align with production proofs and uphold the highest quality standards.
  • Technical Specifications: Develop detailed technical specifications that suppliers can reference to create samples and production items. Keep these documents current with feedback and serve as a central resource for product details.
  • Custom Packaging: Lead custom corporate packaging initiatives, such as designing unique boxes. Collaborate with international suppliers to ensure high-quality production and timely delivery of packaging solutions.
  • Supplies & Re-Sourcing: Manage the sourcing and production of essential materials, including outer cartons, mailing bags, packaging tape, brochures, and care cards. Maintain an organized inventory and ensure timely reordering to support ongoing projects.
  • Coordinate Ordering: Take charge of ordering production materials, working with multiple third-party suppliers to procure items like brass foiling plates, heat press graphics, and print-ready materials. Collaborate closely with the production team to maintain schedules and prevent project delays.
  • Build Supplier Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong connections with creative suppliers, staying informed about new printing methods and technologies. Continuously introduce innovative ideas to enhance our production processes and improve overall quality.
  • Lead and Organize: Exhibit exceptional organizational skills by managing multiple projects concurrently. Lead by example, fostering effective working relationships with both the creative and production teams. Provide guidance and coordination to ensure seamless project execution.

Your Qualifications

  • Software Skills: Proficient in Adobe Suite and Figma
  • Print and Supplier Expertise: Relevant experience with third-party print and creative suppliers, and familiarity with various branding equipment and techniques.
  • Project Management Experience: Proven experience managing diverse projects using CRM tools, with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects effectively.
  • Client Communication Skills: Comfortable and confident in communicating with clients when necessary, even though this role is not always client-facing.
