Role Overview:

The Charity Partnerships Executive is responsible for the JD Foundation's relationships with existing Charity Partners as well as being responsible for the support, identification and engagement with prospective new Charity Partners.

They will manage all objectives linked to successful Partnerships, including managing relationships, attending events, supporting with activations and volunteering asks, reviewing partnership agreements annually and preparing & presenting applications from new partners to the JD Foundation Onboarding Subcommittee.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

Work with current partners to ensure they are providing valuable impact, in line with JD Foundation's vision whilst ensuring they are provided with everything they need to meet the objectives of any agreement. Work with a wide range of new and prospective partners, building strong partnerships and growing awareness about the JD Foundation and our impact. Being an advocate for Charities who want to work with JD Foundation and presenting these charities to the Onboarding Subcommittee where relevant. Main point of contact for all Charity Partners, including troubleshooting issues, amplifying opportunities etc. and relationship building at events, meetings (physical/teams), breaking down barriers etc. Build a focused set of criteria for applying to become a Charity Partner Continue to work with colleagues and stakeholders to identify charities that align with JD Group / JD Consumer's values and beliefs / JD DNA Scheduling and successful delivery of Onboarding Subcommittee meetings - Charity Partnerships. This includes pre-meeting slides/agenda, follow up comms to Trustees etc Work with the Internal Communications team to improve visibility of the JD Foundation brand and to continuously improve understanding of its impact for our colleagues and communities. Develop a network of sector-specific stakeholders and develop connections at all levels across the public and private sectors. Ability to work independently and to use initiative responsibly. Always promote the JD Foundation brand and ethos in a strong and positive manner. Undertake all relevant duties as necessary to fulfil the role Skills/Experience/Knowledge needed:

Experience of programme development and / or leading project management in relation to funding programmes 3+ years' experience in client success / account management including line management responsibilities Exceptional written communication skills Experience of consultation and effective participation with children and young people (desirable) Proven track record of managing and delivering on multiple projects Strong communicator with an ability to lead, influence and build strong relationships with stakeholders Experience in Charity sector is essential Experience of funding networks is desirable Experience of working within the Retail sector is desirable Knowledge and experience of evaluation methods and their application Based in Bury HQ, with some travel required The Company:
