Job Title – Senior Sports Partnership Manager

Location – Remote

Working Rota – Flexible

Working Hours – 40 hours

Role Overview:

The purpose of this role is to work with the Sports Partnerships Team, primarily to support the development of commercial football partnerships. The role will involve augmenting partnership activation calendars, executing plans around key activities, and ensuring that all marketing rights are utilized effectively and commercial opportunities are maximized.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of specific partnership activation calendars to maximize commercial football partnerships.
  • Development and refinement of partnership activation strategies through reviewing of partnerships' impact.
  • Liaison with partners to identify key stories and opportunities to create activity that will help raise the profile of partnerships.
  • Ensuring relevant content is being produced for use on JD Group platforms and sponsor platforms.
  • Collaboration with internal departments and stakeholders for partner approvals and alignment of programs and initiatives.
  • Work with the JD Group Marketing Team to identify opportunities for events and activations that further promote partnership activity.
  • Work with the retail team to identify opportunities for local community engagement.
  • Assistance in activating photoshoots and campaign imagery for sponsored assets.
  • Monitoring of competitors and inspiration sources to report to the wider team.

Requirements:

  • Full and clean driving license.
  • Excellent knowledge of sports (primarily football).
  • Experience of planning and activating partnership agreements.
  • Wider sporting knowledge of other sports.
  • Strong presentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a growing team in a fast-moving environment.
  • A willingness to learn new skills.
  • A willingness to work out of hours and travel where necessary.
