The Financial Support Office is responsible for the administration and awarding of scholarships, bursaries, studentships to LSE undergraduate and postgraduate students. This post offers the opportunity to make an immediate and meaningful contribution to the Postgraduate Research (PGR) student community at LSE.
We are looking for an outstanding administrator and communicator, experienced in providing a high standard of customer service. You will take operational responsibility for the administration of PGR student funding and collaborate across the team on delivering financial support at other levels of study.
You will work closely with the PhD Academy in to support the successful administration of LSE's Doctoral Training Partnership and will liaise with a range of stakeholders including academic departments, UK research councils and other funding bodies.
You will also be responsible for the line management of two Scholarship and Financial Support Coordinators and will also support the general administration of financial support that the team delivers.
Candidates should have:
- Experience working in financial support, student services, finance/planning, or similar teams within higher education
- Excellent organisational skills, including ability to plan and prioritise a varied workload, and meet deadlines in accordance with agreed objectives
- Experience of using CRM functionality for the purposes of enquiry management and resolution
