LOCATIONS: Birmingham / Edinburgh / London

HOURS: Full-Time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites

You'll lead our data governance, data quality, strategy & innovation, BI & Analytics and Performance framework teams providing consultancy across our business to support our strategy to become a data-driven business.

We'll expect you to be able to demonstrate delivery and material impact in the design, execution, and leadership of Data Programmes, have the appropriate skills, experience and knowledge within data disciplines and demonstrate thought leadership and influencing in this space.

What will you be doing?

Design and delivery of a clear strategy for the Data office and Performance Team fostering a data-driven approach and making significant contribution to the development of divisional data strategy. Represent Corporate & Institutional Banking on relevant cross-group bodies and committee's deputising for the Service Delivery Director when required. Continuously improve the quality, granularity, and insight of reporting of data issues. Lead on the application of data standards across the Division, ensuring these are applied consistently across all business units and in the delivery of BAU and platform related change. Lead the design and delivery of effective performance frameworks across CIB, aligned to strategic deliverables, associated business information and associated reporting. Development and ownership of automated, self-serve BI and Analytics reporting to support operational and our relationship teams in understanding and improving performance Build collaborative relationships across the Group to maintain a positive, high-performance culture where the team can deliver at pace and optimise business results in data Manage inherent operational and data risk and identify potential horizon risks, developing plans to mitigate Ensure compliance with Group policy, procedures and guidelines, quality standards and all regulatory and statutory requirements Why Lloyds Banking Group

What You'll Need

Essential Skills / Experience:

Deep data subject matter expert including but not limited to data lineage, metadata management, data privacy & ethics and BI reporting solutions Influencing / negotiation skills Significant Data risk management Proven track record in translating strategy and complex business requirements into a clear operating model and medium-term plan, ensuring their effective delivery Excellent numeracy skills and ability to understand and develop key performance trends based on business requirements Critical Thinking - ability to think Big Picture, joining the dots across a sophisticated array of inputs and figure out what they may mean – providing scenarios/options, but also recommendations Makes authoritative technical and/or professional recommendations that have a significant short-term and long-term impact on the business Knowledge and practicable experience of leading teams (20+) Leadership Capabilities: Leadership and Direction - Leads output delivery for a department by leading others. Storytelling – prior experience and evidence of the ability to take sophisticated information and distil this into simple, compelling stories engaging all levels up to Director. Excellent written and verbal presentation skills. Be a great partner with key internal customers and act as their business partner, while typically using support teams to ensure client satisfaction. Growing Capability - Takes ownership for implementing formal development frameworks, while informally coaching and mentoring others throughout the organisation and investing in own personal development.
