We have an exciting opportunity for a Document Controller to join Amentum as part of a Dynamic and exciting Project Team. If you are currently working as a Document Controller or a highly skilled Administrator looking to diversify into a role that will lead into an established career path, then this may be the right position for you. The successful candidate will become part of a respected and ambitious team who offer support to a variety of different Projects.

As the Document Controller you will be responsible for all Document Control functions, ensuring compliance with our client & Amentum's Document Control requirements.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Management of the relevant vault within the EDRM systems used for the project by client & Amentum
  • To work in conjunction with all Project Teams to ensure that all Deliverables and Non-Deliverables are uploaded to the corrects EDRMS Systems in accordance with Project requirements and timescales
  • File, distribute, store and destroy highly sensitive information.
  • Ensure that the Projects are all fully compliant with the Document Control requirements of the client and Amentum by locating and retrieving files and delivering the documented transaction
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of information.
  • Develop and organise company archives and organizational history.
  • Develop, evaluate and implement document procedures that ensure smooth workflow within/between these areas.
  • Expediting and coordinating information in line with demanding programme.
  • Receive, issue and control project documentation
  • Update project documentation trackers
  • Attend project meetings to provide support and address any issues to ensure the effective flow of documentation
  • Ability to produce reports about various document control inboxes

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Working or basic Knowledge of various Data Management Systems
  • Positive attitude, adaptable and resilient to change
  • Have excellent organisational skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Proficient in MS Office tools
  • Good communication skills both written and oral.
  • Excellent people and management skills
  • Be able to obtain 'Security Clearance'
