We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Executive Assistant to join our thriving department, providing high quality administrative, secretarial and project support to Professor Kevin Talbot, Head of Department, Professor David Bennett, Head of the Division of Clinical Neurology, Professor Masud Husain and Professor Martin Turner.

This is an exciting and wide-ranging role involving matters that are sometimes of a sensitive, highly confidential and/or urgent nature and interacting extensively with senior members of the department, the wider University, the NHS and other external organisations.

You will be a central point of contact for enquiries, manage diaries and travel arrangements, and review and implement processes and procedures to ensure the effective organisation of business and workloads.

You will have significant experience of managing the office of a senior member of staff, with outstanding organisational, administrative and interpersonal communication skills, the ability to work efficiently under pressure, and a high level of discretion and confidentiality.

The post is permanent, part time for a minimum of 30 hours a week (80% FTE), with hybrid working available.

£32,332 to £41,732 (pro rata) per annum. Grade 6
