If so, my client is seeking a Centre Assistant in Lowestoft, offering a temporary opportunity to cover sickness for approximately 6 weeks starting immediately.

As a Centre Assistant, you'll be at the heart of ensuring the smooth operation of the facility, taking on a range of responsibilities to keep everything running seamlessly. From cleaning and maintenance tasks to reception duties and manual handling, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a welcoming and functional environment for staff and visitors alike.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping floors, and cleaning surfaces.
  • Undertaking exterior cleaning duties including litter picking and washing windows.
  • Handling manual tasks such as moving furniture and lifting equipment.
  • Performing general maintenance and repairs as required.
  • Assisting with reception duties, including welcoming clients, providing guidance on health and safety, and directing visitors.
Requirements:
  • Experience in cleaning and maintenance tasks preferred.
  • Ability to handle manual tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in customer service.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks as needed.
The dress code for this role is smart casual yet practical, ensuring you're ready to tackle any task that comes your way. While jeans and trainers are not permitted, any special clothing requirements for specific tasks will be communicated in advance.

Hours:
  • Tuesday: 8am - 1pm
  • Wednesday: 9am - 2pm
  • Thursday: 8am - 1pm
  • Friday: 10am - 2pm
