We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Client Administrator to join our Credit Specialties – Political Risk and Structured Credit team based in Birmingham.

The Client Administrator will work within a highly skilled team that specialises in supporting the individual client teams, with responsibilities including but not limited to assisting with the production of documentation to support the placing of insurance contracts, assisting with the processing and administration of insurance contracts placed, ensuring timely authorisation of documentation, and distribution to markets/client - invoices and Evidence of Cover and assisting with credit control on payments between the client, market and the Company.

This is the perfect role for either someone with a demonstrable background in insurance administration / support or possibly a professional Administrator or recent Grad looking to join an established, market leading insurance broker.

Strong Excel (formulas / tables), excellent time management, attentional to detail and the ability to multitask are essential for this role

We will rely on you to:

  • Assist with the production of documentation to support the placing of insurance contracts.
  • Assist with the processing and administration of insurance contracts placed.
  • Assist in the review and issuance of documentation to evidence insurance contracts placed.
  • Assist in the recording and reporting of information on insurance contracts placed.
  • Assist colleagues in servicing client accounts, to meet clients' requirements and support account growth.
  • Review and check all documentation for quality and technical accuracy.
  • Review and respond to queries and manage these to close in a timely manner.
  • Effectively plan and organise workload in order to meet business timescales.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across Credit Specialties and other areas of the business.
  • Self-motivate in order to achieve desired results with regard to team, company and annual personal objectives.
  • Utilise internal and market facing systems to effectively process and manage the company's business.

  • High level of accuracy and consistency.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications especially Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to build, manage and develop relationships.
