We are looking for a Business Development Executive to be responsible for driving direct sales and new business, as well as nurturing a few existing client accounts.


This role will play an integral part in us achieving our ambitious plans to expand Global Sports further across the UK and internationally.

The primary focus will be to deliver sales across existing products and channels, as well as being responsible for customer success, understanding how we can provide greater value to clients and providing excellent customer service.

We are looking for someone who is excited to develop and grow commercial opportunities that lead to new business. You will enjoy building relationships and creating win-win situations for clients. Ultimately, you will be a high-performing individual who enjoys setting and achieving targets.


This role will suit a commercially minded person who is passionate about the sports industry and who wants to be part of a highly successful global Sales team.


What you'll be doing:


Manage an opportunity through the full sales process, from initial lead generation or follow-up, through to qualification, proposal and eventual closure.

Be a subject matter expert on our services and solutions, understanding key market trends and how Global Sports can solve challenges for clients.

Ensuring the services and solutions sold are of the highest quality and in line with what the Global Sports delivery teams can deliver.

Create and deliver effective account plans for your existing clients, preparing appropriate reports and holding face-to-face meetings.
Producing high-quality proposal documents and presenting to clients a value proposition in an effective and inspiring manner.

Maintaining data quality and leveraging reporting tools in HubSpot and Click-Up to provide an accurate perspective of the current pipeline and overall activity levels.

Professionally conducting the full range of business development activities to support your objectives from telephone and desk research, to networking at events and face-to-face meetings.


Who you are:
Self-motivated to drive new sales.
Influencing and negotiation skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Some sales experience.
Demonstrable experience of retaining and growing revenue through providing successful ROI to clients.

Hybrid working (3 days in our Covent Garden based-office, 2 days from home).
